Regularly commuting to Italy to study with busy Tenor Maestro Marcello Merlini, Simon is in top form and has never been in better voice. Simon is a classically trained Spinto Tenor possessing a great range with a clear bright top C. His voice can be both powerful and delicate possessing rich colourful tones that are delivered with allure and passion.

With a wealth of experience in operetta and musicals he has amassed a large repertoire of songs, Neapolitan Folk songs, ballads and operatic arias. He is currently learning some principle opera roles with Maestro Merlini and hopes to be actively performing them on the European opera stage very soon.

Over the last few years he has performed in and across the UK and Wales. In this last year he has performed in recitals and festivals across northern Italy in Verona, Sirmione, Brescia, Monzambano and Bienno. His most famous venue so far is London's Royal Albert Hall, where he was a principle tenor in a “Three Tenors Tribute” in 1999.

After receiving many individual requests, he took a teaching diploma (DipMusT) which he passed with distinction and teaches singing and vocal technique in the UK. This has proved very popular with his students and he is already in great demand.
