I started singing with hymns in the church at 6. Learned runs with Mahalia, Ella, Billie, and Sarah V. at 8. Cut my belting teeth with Whitney and Mariah between 10 and 14. Trained in control with Faure, Debussy, and Handel in college. Now, I have perfected moving from style to style through being a wedding singer, a vocalist for a contemporary worship band, and my new music ministry, Sparrow with my songwriting partner, Mike Dickerson. Music is life to me. I cannot remember a moment when I didn't sing, and I don't ever want to have a moment where I don't sing. My goal is to make my passion my livelihood.
