We are independent artist's and producer's from the Toronto area looking to breakthrough on our own merits. We’ve been doing this at an amateur, and semi-professional level since we were young teens, but we are finally taking it seriously after spending too much time in the corporate world.

We're all about writing memorable hooks, melodies, and lyrics. We try to incorporate a "back to the basics" approach to song writing. It's about building a world -- an alternate reality -- and allowing listeners to become "lost" in it, if only for a few minutes.

As to what WAVE_SMACK actually sounds at times it sounds like your favorite memories of the 80's and early 90's. Long synthesizer swells, gated snare drums, tape saturation, and screaming tom toms. At other times, Will venture closer to a clean, and more contemporary sound. We never limit ourselves to one specific style, or structure. A single we release today, may sound nothing at all like the single we release next month. We like it that way, and we hope you will as well.
