Born and raised in Perth Western Australia, Jason Lunar is a self established music producer/solo artist writing Experimental Chillout Electronic Music.

Jason picked up a guitar in the early 2000’s And began his path to learning a wide range of musical directions. Jason quickly decided it was time to learn about music production and sound engineering so he could harbour his sounds as a solo music artist.

After various successes in the Australian Music scene and a healthy artillery of releases on Australian label (Good Karma Music) from self taught productions, He moved to the UK and welcomed huge inspiration from artists such as, PHCK, Bonobo, Rodriguez Jr and more, Jason decided to take a more downtempo chilled out world infused vibe under his new name (Jason Lunar)

This movmovement has seen success in Releases such as (Her) and (The Edge) on his own label (Lunar Project)

Lunar has had multiple plays on BBC Introducing and his track Kuro was named track of the week.

Jason spends his studio time experimenting with rare instruments, chopping beats on his MPC 2000xl and recording an array of analogue musical techniques to make his signature organic sound.
