I am a travelling artist using the world and my experiences to continuously feed me inspiration. With my heritage planted in the Caribbean and Eastern Africa I have grown up with a vast variety of music that has shaped the musician I am today. I am a songwriter/producer and vocalist with a degree in Songwriting. I launched my solo artist project 'HURU' in 2017 and have since released 2 official singles on all major platforms as well as a few unofficial releases on Soundcloud.

As well as writing and producing my own material, I have had the pleasure of creating content with emerging artists both local to my hometown and internationally. I have gained 7 yrs of experience working as a top- liner and songwriter for producers/artists in Nairobi, Brazil and London. My most recent travels have brought me to South east Asia where I have performed and collaborated with underground talent.

My passion for music is truly deep rooted and I am continuously seeking opportunities to express myself, refine my craft and grow as an artist.
