Born in 1992 in the north of Brazil, Gui Lopes is a multi-instrumentalist since early age, to then be interested in singing and composing, he now lives in Rio de Janeiro. After high school, Gui was accepted into EMB (Brasilia’s School of Music) where teachers highly recommended him to professionally record his music and invest in the career. In 2012, Gui moves to Rio to record his first album in Roberto Menescal’s studio, called “Modo de voo”. In the following years, he recorded his EP “Impulso” in 2014, in 2015 a single “Boomerang Blues” and the album “Se eu contar o que eu vi”, with a new experimental rock atmosphere, to be released this year. The most inspiring aspect of art for Gui Lopes is the message of artists such as John Lennon, Raul Seixas, Caetano Veloso, Mutantes etc. Most of his efforts as an artist are towards the spreading of awareness of peace and unity.
