Michele Rampino, stage name GARRA, was born in Foggia, Italy, in 1995. When he was 12 years old, in 2007, he falls in love with electronic music with the track "Genesis" by the French duo "Justice", from then he will go to the discovery of genres like house, electro house, progressive house, dance and techno, influenced by artists like Tiësto, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, David Guetta, Moby, Nicky Romero, Showtek, Ummet Ozcan, Knife Party and many others. From 2010 he begins to take his first steps in the field of music production mainly using Fruity Loops Studio, even after he tried to produce with other DAWs such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro and Cakewalk Sonar. From 2013 he also began playing in clubs of his city, especially the "Domus", where have played djs like Promise Land and Nari & Milani. On april 2015 he founded with his friend Fhe Louis, united by their passion for electronic music, the web radio "Overklap Inc.", which it has already hosted rising DJs. From August to September 2015 he attended a course in sound engineering at the famous studios of "Mastering Audio Labs", one of the most renowned recording studios in the south of Italy; thanks to this course he knows the acoustic, the psychoacoustic, the electroacoustic, the microphones, the pick-ups, the phase, the audio cables, the history of recording techniques, the DAWs, the types of distortion, the analog equipment and the digital equipment, the sampling and the conversion, the creative manipulation of sounds and the external effect processors, the studio applications, the mixing desk, the final mix and the mastering. He has received the professional certificate of merit for having passed the final test.
From October 2015 he is studing Electroacoustic Composition and Electronic Music at the 'Umberto Giordano' conservatory of his town.
