DJBACKUP also known as mulaudzi shonisani is a pure Deep and Amapiano DJ, producer & remixer. I am one talented guy! raised on a diet of Soul Classics and has been inspired by deep house and soulful house music since childhood. This gave me the foundation and inspiration for my sound. I'm fan of black coffee . I am always exploring new musical territories while still pleasing my fan base with a deep & censual house music I Started realizing that I got a spark in Music during my high school days back in 2006. I've been releasing mixtapes until 2009 December using my stage name as Dj Mulaudzi, until the name DjBackup SA was given to me by a friend and mentor. In December 2010 I met up with Dj pepe, Dj Super from Rendis entertainment. They offered me residency to Mirunzini Lodge until 2012, that is where I shared the stage with the likes of Dj zodwa(vunu muthekhe),Bundu(Tshovhilingana) as MC ,Makhadzi(Vhuya),Dj Nomzamo & Dj Sbonyoko , Jacob Dj Pepe Thandela offered me a slots at his Events, Since then I had remain loyal to him and was offered residency to all gigs he had. April 2013 I relocated to Johannesburg and i met Godfrey tshivhase(Dj Techware) & Nhlanhla mohlasedi (Dj Master gift) who noticed the talent and put it into good use. I've Been a guest Dj @ Cito cafe(Berea), The Base(hillbrow), Cappello(CBD) & Razmataz(Berea), that's where I made my first encounter with maristan(jhb CBC) and De bliss corner(jhb braam). Playing ( Deep house & Amapiano), February 2016 I met with Bafana xibambu AKA Dj Zizo ,Dj Cohen(Mistry sounds) & Mudau Ndivhuwo (Dj Ndeeman) .They are the one's who helped me to refine the stronger characteristics of being in the entertainment industry. Same year, I was invited by GBK entertainment Company at MGI in midrand to be a guest Dj at their fresher's party, I've been a guest to many formal and casual events in and outside JHB before releasing my 1st house track called December featuring Local rap artist (Kaytwo). June 2018 I started a musical movement called Amapiano Ko Venda ,released 5 mixtapes under it, august same year, I met & a stage with all these wonderful DJ's. Givergivero(Moo Bar), Captain Bk,Mawela De DJ,Dj Stone,vhuyie De dj(Migeroni),Dj Vantonder(Matopo) ,Dj ndandu,Rabs Vhafuwi, Dj Takie(Ha-bommbo), Dj Sbonyoko(ha-benjie), Dj Dogmore, De Chem,Jalicot(bunji vs Zizo) and many more. I've participated on Venda DJ's competition and Red Square challenge while busy marketing the music I produce and play (Amapiano).working with Specs beats,joston masiac,Exclusive Gun Do beats and Jaybee Rams beats My services have been outstanding and much pleasing to everyone with extreme care to language used on my music. 2018 November I released a single track Titled "Mo Ngwaneng" with joston masiac which played on air 1st time on Phalaphala FM (28-11-2018) together with an interview, its all on digital stores,iTunes, Traxsource , Deezer, Spotify etc Participated on events like Spar music festival18 pre-party and main event sharing the stage with the likes of Takie ndou, Dj Tira, King Monada & many more 2019 January I started a new musical movement called THEE HOUSE ,it started off with a heavy and exclusive set of Amapiano music, Around first week of February I got a Live set and an interview on Phalaphala FM, April they gave me the whole month to Dj Live every Thursday 17:35-18:00. They extended my services there as a resident Dj for Thursday show. I have released an album in the year 2020 with 9 instrumental tracks and two vocal tracks
