Born on April 18th 1987, Dane Russell spent most of his childhood moving from place to place in and around the Detroit area. Growing up in Motown was a huge influence and his love for music was undeniable from a very young age. After moving out to Phoenix, Dane met Odie in 2005 while working a 9 to 5. They quickly found that they shared a similar passion. Dane teamed up with Odie, Stern & Go Figga Entertainment to release his first single "Before We Met", which became an instant favorite among fans. Not long afterward, he dropped his first album titled "Diversity", a collection of tracks showcasing the many styles & talents of this rising star. After taking a break from Go Figga, Dane started working with rapper/producer Carolina Boy, together they released an album titled "The Come Up", it was a milestone for both, producing a number of hit songs. Shortly after Dane started working with Carolina Boy on his solo album titled "Switchin Lanes" which became a huge success nation wide. After performing the album Dane decided to step away from music and focus on his newborn daughter. HE'S BACK and better then ever and ready to do what he loves most, make music with and for people around the world.
