Part of fulfilling the vision of Vocalizr becoming a one-stop-shop for producers & vocalists, the first major feature out of the gate is Engine Room, bringing audio engineering, mixing & mastering, and vocal engineering services onto the platform.

Enlisting the expertise of veteran audio engineers Luke Chable & Danny Bonnici, Vocalizr aims to help you finish your projects off with a professional polish that would usually be out of reach, or too expensive. Vocalizr PRO subscribers will also receive a 20% discount (for only $9 USD a month).

Marketplace: A World First

After launching in 2014 with the world’s first service connecting singer/songwriters and producers for real recording jobs, Vocalizr is rapidly approaching the release of another major feature, which is also a world-first: Marketplace.

Marketplace effectively takes out the middle-man, removing the guess work of booking talent for recording jobs, by giving the ability for users to search, and buy, finished once-off vocal toplines, music backing tracks, and songs (lyrics & melody) that can be sung by the vocalist of your choice.

Previously the domain of only publishers, Marketplace completely opens the music industry for anyone looking to finish their tracks within days instead of weeks or months by serving independent songwriting and production talent and songs to anyone with a free Vocalizr  account.

Phase 1 of the Marketplace release is due in early October, whereby users will be able to upload their finished & unused vocals, music backing tracks, or songs (lyrics & melody) to the platform in preparation for the full Marketplace release soon after, when the doors will be open for users to start buying.

Marketplace: Search & Auditioning

The beauty of Marketplace is in the search and auditioning tools. If you’re a producer and you need a quality vocal quickly, Vocalizr’s Marketplace is your one-stop-shop. When users enter Marketplace, they'll be presented with pages of professional quality toplines, songs, and music to listen to while using search by key, bpm, gender, genre, and vocal style - everything you’d need to find exactly what you’re looking for.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, here’s the kicker: you’ll also be able to ‘try them on for size’ (!!!) Just upload your track to the audition player, and then start trying vocals straight over your track, and buy on the spot. If the vocal is virtually there but not quite right, you can then enter the Vocalizr Studio and work with the vocalist to change any words or notes to make it fit perfectly.

Singer/Songwriters aren’t missing out either. They can use the same search tools to find music backing tracks to complete their songs, without the need for posting jobs to find someone to work with. Also, for those who have a stockpile of unused recorded songs, or even just songs they would like to sell for lyrics & melody, they can.
