Oasis & High Flying Birds fans have been treated to a triple treat today - Noel Gallagher has just announced his brand new album will be released in this November 24 + world tour dates, and he's also selling a bunch of Oasis-era vintage gear from his collection.

Who Built The Moon?

The new album came out of the blue of some, although Noel has been steadily releasing HFB albums every two years since the release of the self titled debut 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds'. Noel joined forces with David Holmes to produce the album who says "People are going to be surprised. I think people love Noel and they’re desperate for him to make a really big, bold, up-tempo beast of a record – a lot of Noel's music is quite mid-tempo... This one is fun." Checkout the official album trailer and tracklist below...

Vintage Oasis Gear Goes On Sale

As if that wasn't eonugh, we've also learned via Reverb.com that Noel will be selling guitars, amps, and fx on the platform. Regarding the gear, Noel says "These pieces have a lot history, but they’re still very playable — I’d love to get them into the hands of someone who will put them to good use."

Accoring to Reverb, 'It's an impressive showing with scores of VOX, Fender, HiWatt, Orange, and Marshall amps taking center stage. There are rare vintage tape echo units and one-off prototypes like an Orange Custom Shop NG140 built specifically for Gallagher by noted amp guru Adrian Emsley.'

Other highlights from the collection include:

  • A 1960s Epiphone Professional guitar and amp set played by Gallagher on tour and in the studio.

  • A Vox Foundation bass head an Supreme cabinet that comes with a printed setlist from the Oasis rehearsal held just prior to the band’s last unofficial gig.

  • A Laney Top Mount Supergroup Head with 4x12 Bass 100 Cabinet used predominantly in the studio by Gallagher. These under-the-radar vintage Laney amplifiers from the late-'60s and early-'70s are best known for fueling Black Sabbath’s sound.

  • A late-1990s Mellotron Mk VI — an instrument that Oasis used all over their recordings. Gallagher has owned several and this one comes from that studio collection.

  • An Orange OR120 Overdrive with 4x12 and Head that was used on tour with Oasis.
