I learned to sing in Jr High and carried it on through High School where I was a part of a prestigious show choir. I did a few school/district contests. Voice lessons during that time brought my voice out to be akin to a more big band style like Frank Sinatra (my favorite singer). Although, after graduation, I left the regular singing behind and now just sing a song or two at Karaoke bars. I sing all sorts of music from jazz, country, pop, and even rap. I don't primarily have studio access, but I have a nice condenser microphone called the AKG Perception 220, a usb pre-amp with phantom power, and software to record audio into.
