I used to work with this process :
STEP 1 : I need a demo (45/60seconds) in order to confirm the ideas.
I only pay attention to the melodies, you can use random lyrics if you want, I like when the vocal part is structured with groove, good melodies etc.
STEP 2 : We find the good direction together before to go further. The aim is to exchange our ideas.
STEP 3 : Improvement(s) of the song (It will be details I think), so 1 improvement.
STEP 4 : Recording in studio. I need each vocal part (Lead, 2nd vocal, ad-libs/samples) in format .WAV (Not compressed, don't send me .MP3 for the final record).
For information : I love perfection, good vibes, recognizable melodies. You're free to propose me something you like, I'm open minded : lyrics + melodies.
And important for me : Don't rush, take your time. If you need time, take it !
