Hi!
This song is in need of vocals and lyrics. The vocals should start sixteen seconds in and the key is Am. I have scratch vocals/lyrics for it as a reference (you can hear that version on Soundcloud in the audio brief link) But I'm only happy with the melody line from that version. Feel free to re-use that melody or create a new one and please add new lyrics. Preferably something light, empowering, optimistic, etc (though I realize the minor key of the song makes that more challenging! I just think my original lyrics were TOO bleak . . . ) Perhaps something like how beautiful melancholia can be, or how much fun it is to have your heart broken. : )
Please try and keep the melodies simple and catchy.
I'm slowly working on finding vocalists for about 12 more songs so if I like your demo for this contest but it doesn't get chosen, I may hire you for another tune in progress.
