Like most, I started in church choir growing up, and then sang backup for a reggae band. I am an alto (Ex: Unbreak my Heart), but I am usually placed as a soprano, b/c I can hit high notes too (Ex: Moana). Lyrics come very easy to me, b/c I have lived a very full life (from many perspectives). I have many of my own songs, which most people describe as "spiritual." I wrote my first piano piece, lyrics and song at 18, been making music since. I own an Arturia keyboard, Ableton software and a MacBook. On my free time, I check my harmonies to make sure I can still hear the difference to sing soprano, alto, or center "tenor." FYI- Templo Studios produced "Live Simply" but I wrote the lyrics/melody/piano & sang (he did everything else).
