I’m Laura,
Singer-Songwriter, with 7 years of professional studio recording experience.
I have always challenged myself to sing and write in different styles & sounds.
Primarily I enjoy; Pop/ Folk/ Rock & Indie. My voice has been compared to Adele, Taylor Swift, Paramore (Hayley Williams), Jewel, Vanessa Carlton & Evanescence.

I am fortunate to have had extensive recording experience since the age of 12, there-after I was signed to an Australian Independent Label (BNM).
2007 saw the release of my debut EP which achieved national commercial airplay in Australia (Fox & Nova), with my accompanying video-clip featuring on TV: Video Hits, Rage, and Channel V.

My demo recordings on display are reflective of the musical genre I pursued as an artist 5 years ago. I would like that to change that. I’m here to blend, experiment and develop my repertoire through these collaborative opportunities.
I’d like to play around with a wider range of styles; I’m particularly lured towards melodic/ lustrous beats, dance, house & electronica – as well as pop, folk, & indie rock, etc.

No matter what style or sound you're targeting, I believe that each song must shine on its own, with each musical addition aiming to complement the existing work.
I write thoughtful, catchy melodies & lyrics, and deliver vocal performances with genuine emotion and vigor. Once I begin working on a song, I can often get strong ideas regarding the song's developmental structure. That being said, I'm happy to work towards specific goals and the desired outcomes.

I am relatively new at recording by myself, however I have developed a critical ear over the many years in the studio. At this stage I am open to both; small/ experimental projects as-well as professional collaborations with ambitious intentions.
I look forward to working with you & creating a moving collection of striking songs.
