BIOGRAPHY

Adolfo “Dolph” Espina is a singer, actor, and producer based in Madrid and London. Dolph started
singing in local R&R bands of his hometown, Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain at the
beginning of the nineties achieving remarkable success with a funk-rock formation, called “Dr
Lecter”. The band was a finalist in the prestigious contest for emerging bands “ Villa de Bilbao”
and also was selected by the radio station “Cadena 100” to play along with other Spanish bands in
a festival at “El sol” legendary concert house in Madrid. The band recorded an LP called “The first”
entirely in English, and other works in compilations for different record labels,becoming in the middle of the decade in one of the best R&R national bands, performed nationwide and even required for some gigs in the USA, finally the band broke up in 1998 and nowadays it is considered as a cult band.

In UK, Dolph has worked as studio singer and lyricist for the multi platinum producer Andy Whitmore, Whitmore has produced 14 UK top-ten hits including "Flava" by Peter Andre and "I've Got A Little Something For You" by MN8. He also produced the 2000 album Love Science 101 by Phoenix.
Doph is currently singing with the punk rock band "Goldfingers". On the level of his music path has developed a solid trajectory as an actor too,
Dolph has a degree in Drama studies.
