Dan Silva, singer & producer born in Madrid (Spain) and grown in the Canary Islands, has developed a personal style of Soul and R&B. Mostly influenced by the tunes of the 80's and 90's, his music respects many of its elements, but bringing more actual sounds. Rich melodies, good funk beats, and elegant harmonies coming from Rhodes and Synth Sounds, combined with a personal voice on its own Soul/R&B style, are a distinctive seal, in the work of this singer and producer. Despite of his own proyects, he has worked as composer for different artists, some of them known, from Spain to New York. His music has been included in albums like the one of the great keyboardist / producer Bob Baldwin: "New Urban Jazz", which included heavy weight artists like Jocelyn Brown or FrankMcComb. Being one of the most referenced artists of Soul Music in Spain, "Reason to Be", his debut album, covers a wide range of sound, from ballads, to up-tempo soulful tracks, making it a new example of the Soul music made from Spain, to the World.
