Brotha CJ, first got into music spending hours listening
to soul and funk records in his childhood
basement. Since then Brotha CJ has been creating
beautifully vivid music capturing his colorful imagination.
The charasmatic storyteller moved to Spain in 2012
and soon began immersing himself in the Madrid’s
thriving urban jam scene. Brotha CJ has since harnessed
his storytelling ability and passionate stage
presence to become one of the most exciting performers
in the Spanish capital’s live circuit.
Brotha CJ and his band the Othahood have sold out
countless venues in Madrid; playing in festivals like
Madrid es Negro and debuting his new EP Everybody
Eats in front of thousands at Madrid’s annual
festival San Isidro. Brotha CJ’s biggest hit ‘Hard To
Remember’ with close friend and producer Mumbai
Moon´ featured on top playlist like Fresh Finds and
Mellow Bars and has reached over 750,000 plays.
2018 has a been a big year for the rising emcee and the
