Baluu is a 22-year-old neo-soul singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer. Raised in Dubai, Baluu started performing at the age of 8 and started writing music after his dad passed away in a drunk motorbike accident. Baluu’s live performances are best described as a combination of silky vocals inspired by the likes of the weeknd, Miguel, Tracy Chapman and Shilo Dynasty and a rhythmically percussive guitar playing style reminiscent of Tom Misch, Mark Knopler and John Mayer.
